Book Signing at Turn the Page Bookstore in Boonsboro, MD, April 15, 2010

An author who needs no introduction! Nora graciously signed two books for me, even after meeting and greeting readers at Turn the Page for four hours.

February Signings
“Marie Antoinette” signs a book for an intrepid reader who braved snow and slush to visit Fenwick Street Books.

Marie Antoinette signs a book for Virginia Romance Writers member Alleyne Dickens at the Borders in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

The First Sighting!
On New Year’s Day, I saw my book on sale for the very first time, on the New Paperback Release table at the Barnes & Noble store in Annapolis, Maryland.

The First Signing!
I conducted my very first book signing at Bay Books, an independent book store in Maryland. What a wonderful time! There was a steady stream of traffic for two full hours. The staff said it was the best signing they’d had in the store’s 20-year history. Can you see me grinning from ear to ear?

Historical romance novelist Mary Blayney made a special trip to visit me. What a thrill!

The local doll club president bought five copies of my book.

Here I am with my mother (left) and friend, Diane (right). Both of these dear women pored over my manuscript repeatedly to help me get it right.
